Goodbye

Alright. Hi.

I am here to announce that I shall be taking the briefest of breaks (may be a terrible lie) from blogspot and shall be temporarily moving to tumblr.

This is such an inevitable move, to explain it almost feels wrong somehow. But I shall do my best anyway.

It just seems like this blog (I love you) has become focused on mundane, boring subjects and above all stagnant. Every time I have something interesting/ selfish to blog about it seems to fizzle out by the time I reach this page! Something is stifling my creativity and self-expression, and I don't approve.

But why tumblr?

Sure sure, I can't stand how tumblr's format complies all the pictures I post into an album- a massive slideshow glob- but then again, when was the last time I had the initiative to actually blog about an outing/ memorable event?

And yeah, I don't particularly fancy their colour scheme. (Yes, I am shallow like that) But I do love the freedom they give you in designing your own page!

Plus I like how tumblr allows you to express so much about yourself through a few simple pictures. Most of all, I love how you can just reblog a few choice images and not have to commit yourself to an entire solid post whenever you get that urge to blog. There is something very comforting about having that kind of flexibility that I believe will make for better posts. That'll also come in handy next year when AUSMAT swamps me with homework and endless assignments. :|

In all honesty, the only reason I have delayed this shift is my loyalty to plinee.blogspot.com. What does it say of me when I can so easily dump my bestcyberfriend when the going gets tough?

Which is why I have come up with a solution. No matter what happens, this page shall remain open. Children will still be able to play here, adults read their papers and ice cream men sell their wares. Never shall I let the light of day see the demolishment of this blog in this part of Afri-
